Before you write
My reading didn’t appear on my other device
Sync only runs while you are signed in on both devices. On a khatmah
screen, pull down to refresh — that asks the server for anything newer
right now, and tells you plainly when it last succeeded.
I want my account and data deleted
Settings → Account → Delete account removes the account and every
row attached to it, permanently. You can also just sign out; reading as a
guest keeps everything on the device and sends nothing anywhere.
Request deletion without the app
Choose “Account, sync, or deleting my data” above, give the
email your Wird account uses as your reply address, and say you want the
account deleted. Messages here are not linked to any account, so that
address is how we know the account is yours: we write to it first, and act
once you answer from it. We then delete the account and everything attached
to it within 30 days and write back to confirm. Two things are not part of
the account and stay: the record of sign-ins the account service keeps (see
the privacy policy), and this message, which is
deleted after 12 months like every other.

واجعل عنوانَ الردّ البريدَ الذي يستعمله حسابك في وِرد، واذكر أنك تريد حذف
الحساب. ولأنّ الرسائل هنا لا ترتبط بأيّ حساب، فذلك العنوان هو ما نعرف به أنّ
الحساب حسابك: نكتب إليه أولًا، ولا نحذف إلا بعد أن تردّ منه. ثم نحذف الحساب
وكل ما يتصل به خلال ثلاثين يومًا ونكتب إليك مؤكِّدين. ويبقى أمران ليسا من
الحساب: سجلّ الدخول الذي تحفظه خدمة الحسابات (انظر
سياسة الخصوصية)، ورسالتك هذه، وتُحذف بعد اثني عشر
شهرًا كسائر الرسائل.
Wird asked for permission to save a photo
Only when you share an ayah as an image and choose “Save
Image”. Wird never reads your photo library — it can only add the
picture it just made.
Something in the Qur’anic text or recitation looks wrong
Please tell us, with the page or ayah number. Wird never types Qur’anic
text by hand — every glyph comes from KFGQPC data — so a genuine
fault is worth chasing upstream, and we will.
Privacy
What Wird stores, what syncs only if you sign in, and what never leaves your
device at all is written out in full in the
privacy policy.
